Plans and seats
Nine paid tiers in three families. What each one actually buys you, and which one you need to have a team.

les Archives ships nine paid tiers, in three families of three. The family matters far more than the level.
The three families
Solo is one photographer, one seat. Everything in the app except the ability to bring anyone else in.
Studio is you plus one. Two seats on the same workspace, and the Team chapter in Settings unlocks. The one to be on if you have a second shooter, an assistant, or an editor who touches the archive.
Agency is one seat but many workspaces. You hold the license and switch between client workspaces, each with its own brand, its own archive, and its own client approver. The image allowance is pooled across all of them rather than granted per workspace.
What each tier gives you
| Tier | Seats | Images a month | Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | 1 | 250 | Locked |
| Solo Plus | 1 | 500 | Locked |
| Solo Pro | 1 | 800 | Locked |
| Studio | 2 | 500 | Open |
| Studio Plus | 2 | 800 | Open |
| Studio Pro | 2 | 1,200 | Open |
| Agency | 1 | 1,000 pooled | Open |
| Agency Plus | 1 | 1,600 pooled | Open |
| Agency Pro | 1 | 2,200 pooled | Open |
Every tier has a monthly and an annual version. The tier is what changes, not the feature set within a family.
Studio and Agency count differently
This is the part worth reading twice.
A Studio cap is per workspace. You have one workspace, and 500 or 800 or 1,200 frames a month belong to it.
An Agency cap is pooled. The whole allowance sits on your license and every client workspace draws from the same pool. Catalog a 200 frame wedding in one client's workspace and the other clients have 200 fewer available. Settings, chapter 01 Account, the row MONTHLY USAGE · POOLED, shows the breakdown per workspace, so you can see which client is eating it.
The line that actually decides your tier
Whether anyone else needs to sign in.
Solo is a complete product. Nothing about the archive, cataloging, carousels, Pinterest, or submissions is held back. The only thing behind Studio is the team. On Solo, chapter 09 of Settings collapses to a single row reading TEAM · STUDIO + AGENCY TIERS, and there's no way to invite anyone from anywhere else in the app.
So the question isn't how many photos you make. It's whether a second person has their own login. If it's only ever you, Solo Pro at 800 frames a month is a larger allowance than Studio at 500.
Where Agency differs in the app
Three things appear that Studio never sees.
A grouped workspace switcher. The sidebar switcher header reads Switch workspace and splits into Owned and Client, rather than the flat Your workspaces list everyone else gets.
An agency identity row. Chapter 09 The Team gains AGENCY IDENTITY, where you pick which of your workspaces is the agency rather than a client. That workspace's name and logo are what your clients see on the review pages you send them. Only one workspace can hold it.
Client approvers per workspace. Each client workspace carries its own CLIENT APPROVER EMAIL, so the right person reviews the right work. Covered under Client approvals.
Changing tier
Settings, chapter 01 Account, the row LICENSE & SUBSCRIPTION. Unfold it and there are two buttons. Refresh my plan checks your account for a newer license and adopts it, which is the one to try first if you've just bought an upgrade. Replace license key is the manual path if you're pasting in a key by hand.
Your workspace, archive, and settings are attached to your account rather than to the key, so nothing moves and nothing is lost.
Going down from Studio to Solo with a team member already in your workspace is worth thinking about before you do it, because chapter 09 locks behind the downgrade.
