Creating a job
Two ways in, the three fields the form actually asks for, and the details you fill in afterwards.

Every job starts from NEW JOB in the top bar of Catalog. A menu rather than a button, and it opens on two headings.
Start a new job now. Pick From computer and a folder picker opens. Choose the wedding's folder and the job is built around it. From Dropbox appears only once you've connected Dropbox, and does the same thing with a cloud folder.
Catalog end to end, in six minutes. Worth watching once before you set up your first job, because the rhythm is easier to see than to read.
Or start with intake. Send the couple their debrief and Fill in the debrief myself both open the New Client sheet. Both are paths for a job you have booked but not shot yet.
What the New Client sheet asks for
Three things, and only one of them is required.

The button at the bottom reads Continue to debrief. It creates the job and hands you straight to the debrief send flow. No Create button, and no field here for venue, location, links or notes. Those live on the job itself.

The job panel
Open a job and the panel on the right is a stack of folder tabs: JOB DETAILS, REFERENCE DOCS, EDITORIAL, ACTIVITY LOG. Click a tab to open it. Below the stack sits the cover strip, and below that the footer with the job's buttons.
JOB DETAILS is where the rest of the job gets filled in:

There is no Save button on this folder. Every field saves as you type.
Venue and location are the two that earn their keep. We copy them through verbatim into captions and submissions, so they're only ever as right as you type them. A misspelled venue is a misspelled venue in thirty captions.
LOCATION has a small chevron beside it that opens your saved locations. That list is Settings, 07 The Machinery, LOCATIONS.
ABOUT THIS JOB is the free-text field the writing leans on hardest. It reads in full at cataloging time.
Relevant links
RELEVANT LINKS has an [ + ADD LINK ] button. Each row is a URL, and you can add as many as the job needs. The delivered gallery, the planner's blog post, a published feature, the couple's wedding website.
Representation
REPRESENTATION holds heritage and relationship, in the couple's own words. Asked once at the wedding level, and every image in the job inherits it. We never guess it, and the AI never fills it in. It stays private to your workspace until the couple approves sharing.
It replaced the old Couple Type tag. It feeds the Heritage and Relationship filters, covered under The grid and the filters.
Where a Pinterest pin actually points
Worth being precise about, because there are three levels and the job is none of them.

If none of the three is set, the pin goes out with no link at all.
In practice the chain is shorter than it looks. Blog feature is set in bulk, from the Bulk Edit sheet under Workflow. Nothing in the app writes a per-frame gallery URL today, so for most people the real choice is blog feature or the default destination. Set the default once in Settings and forget it.
