What the phone is being built to do, and what will stay on the Mac.

It isn't a replacement for the Mac app and isn't trying to be. Meant to cover the things you genuinely do away from your desk: looking something up, sketching a carousel, and clearing approvals.
The tabs
The tab set isn't final. As planned it's five: Home for a Dashboard summary, Archive for browsing and searching everything cataloged, Create for sketching a carousel draft, Schedule for the Instagram queue, and Inbox for approvals. Home and Archive are read only. Create and Inbox write back. Settings is planned as a sheet behind the avatar rather than a tab.
Signing in
The same way you sign in on the Mac. Enter your email, we send you a six-digit code, you type it in. There is no password anywhere in les Archives. Biometric unlock on the phone is intended but not confirmed.
One subscription is meant to cover both. If it's active the phone unlocks, and if it isn't you're pointed back to the Mac to subscribe.
The Archive on the phone
Planned as read only, with everything there and searchable. Tap a frame for full screen, then copy the alt text or caption, or save a working-size copy to Photos.
Tags, captions, and metadata aren't planned as editable on the phone. That work stays on the Mac.
Create
Pick a job, pick a handful of frames, give it a title and a caption, save. The draft is meant to land on the Mac in the Carousel Studio start screen, where it opens as a full editable project.
Schedule
See the Instagram queue and add a post from a job's frames. Editing, reordering, and rescheduling stay on the Mac.
Nothing publishes from the phone. The queue is what drives your reminders and the handoff back to the Mac.
Inbox
Every pending client approval, plus editor messages waiting on you. Tap for the full context, then Approve, Request Changes, or Reject, writing back immediately. The one fully writable content workflow planned for the phone, and the reason to have it installed.
Getting it
TestFlight first, the App Store after, with the invite going to the email on your account. The arrangement isn't settled, so watch for the announcement rather than this page.
Cataloging is Mac only and will stay that way. You'll be able to browse and share what cataloging produced, but the step itself needs the Mac.
