Moving around
Cmd and a number jumps straight to a section, from anywhere in the app. Learn these on day one.

Backing out
Esc steps back one level rather than jumping home, so it does what you expect wherever you're.

Rating frames in The Archive
This is the one that saves real time. Hover a frame in the grid and press a number. No clicking, no selecting first, and you can run down a whole grid with one hand.
| Keys | What it does |
|---|---|
| 1 to 5 | Sets that star rating on the frame under your cursor |
| The same number again | Clears the rating. Pressing 4 on a 4 star frame takes it back to none |
| 0 | Clears the rating outright |
With one frame open in The Archive
Open a single frame and the keyboard does more. None of these fire while your cursor is in a text field, so typing "5 star garden" into a caption box won't rate anything.

Carousel Studio
Everything in this table works inside Carousel Studio and nowhere else. The shortcuts are installed when the builder opens and torn down when it closes.
